sorry it took so long JB. I was in Georgia all weekend and been catching up since. What he's done is very simple. I do the same thing with my digital recorder. I can record one individual track and then play it back and sing along with it while recording a second track. Both tracks are completely separate. Then I can play both of those tracks back and sing along with it creating a third track....and then a forth, fifth etc. I can do this with vocal tracks or instrument tracks. I can play and record a rhythm guitar track...play it back and add a lead track totally separate and then combine them later. The number of tracks are unlimited. My recorder will do 8 tracks at a time, but I can combine all 8 tracks down to 2 tracks and add 6 more...it's become a real simple science. www.ourstage.com/media_items/DKYXJUHJTLRQ-dream-cover

The Irish New Age singer Enya is known for this kind of thing; she's been called a Choir Of One, creating every voice and instrument in her songs using as many as 12 tracks.

John, I have all her work, including a rare video. She's real easy on the eyes, too.
