I went to Georgia last Saturday to visit our friend Dee and her kids Olivia and Caleb. I also was given the task of putting together a castle/swing set and monkey bars. OMG... I started off the trip feeling a little sick with a head cold and after three or four days of solid rain and bitter cold weather I think I would have to get better to die. I feel like crap. But I had to get this contraption together, after all IT'S CHRISTMAS. Attachments:

Tommy, I still think the playground that you made my Grands is a lot better. When you're well you'll have to put a pix of it on here. What I like is that I can use it for a lawn decoration with just a few changes when the kids are big. But then maybe not...change that is. My son and I like to sit outside and swing a little when we talk politics. And now days we do that a lot! We'll also post pictures of the "sidewalk" you built to go up and down my mountain of a front yard. It's almost finished folks and wow does it make a difference in walking up to the road where we park the cars. Decided we needed to do this when I had to go to the emergency room at 3AM with my pneumonia. Not a time to go mountain climbing, let me tell you. Tommy has built so many wonderful things around here. He's turned this from a single wide 16 X 80 foot trailer into our own "Wagging Tails Cottage" that the people and critters love. Don't want to see you around here Tommy until you are 100% better. You DON'T need to get pneumonia. BTW, my son and Tommy are talking about building a "tower". First it was a bridge in the deck system joining the library to the house. Be mindful that all of this is built on the side of a mountain. Everything is build on 4x4 and 6x6 posts; that includes the library. If any of you are failure with Frank Lloyd Wright's "Falling Waters" house this is what it all reminds me of. Thank goodness our water is in a creek down at the bottom of the mountain, in the back. Also, with just a little help of a framing crew for the library, Tommy did this all by himself. Well, I did sit and direct him. Somehow I don't think he put that in the plus column. ;D

All I had in mind was a small boat that the slide could be attached to. I'd been in the house and when I came out I had the Queen Mary in the front yard. ;D Actually everyone likes it. Even the dogs jump up and play king of the mountain on it. When the kids out grow it I'll put all sorts of planters in and around it. Tommy even made a ship's wheel which is beautiful.
