After watching the news this A.M. I'm just boiling mad. Well, angry really. They haven't driven me crazy....yet! Our Congress is about as useful to America as a screen door on a submarine.
I know Jerry, you saw it all coming. So what! It's still WRONG. And I'm just wondering when folks are going to pick up their guns and start voting with their bullets. What a mess that will be. And all because we let this Republic run on auto pilot and didn't keep track of what those idiots in Washington have been doing for the past 50 years.

As you will note, I have NEVER advocated violence. BUT, I can't control what other people will do. If the government (local, state, or federal) starts trying to take away the guns I think they will be met with a LOT of gunfire!
When the Sons of Liberty started talking about freeing the colonies from England, there were a lot of people who didn't want to go that route. They considered such people as radical fools. And they, at first, seemed to be in the majority. Right now we seem to have a lot of people who back Obama and a Leftist government. But remember, these are the "takers". I don't believe they will do anything but run for cover when the fit hits the shan. I just wish violence didn't have to happen before our representatives in government woke up. But they are such self centered individules (for the most part) that I believe it will take a few bullets between their eyes before they believe that the people have had enough of their nonsense.

History has proven that the only way to clean up a long-term mess is to cause a sudden, much bigger mess and then clean up the pieces, sorting them out in the process.

That certainly has been the way of mankind, hasn't it?! I wish there was a less violent way. It does seem so stupid to kill each other over ideas, doesn't it?
My one son says he thinks that the U.S. will split into 2 countries. Wouldn't that be something? We tried that once before and it didn't work out so well.
You know what I'd like to see happen? I would love to see California just made it's own little country. Let the fruits and nuts out there that wish to give everyone, everything see how well it works for them. Right now they are going broke. One of the things they do is make it extremely cheap for people to go to school. Not that I'm advocating high college prices. IMO they should be high enough to pay for running the school and low enough that a person doesn't come out owing over $100,000.00 in student loans. But California's prices are ridiculous. They are not enough to support their school system so once again the tax payers get stuck with the bill. It is rapidly becoming a state of the really poor or the extremely rich. The middle class is going the way of the dodo bird. And many Californians are voting with their feet, and moving to other states. Their state revenues are going down, down, down, even though they voted to raise taxes on themselves. And yet they persist with their nutty ideas. The Left has been left out in the sun too long....or something. They refuse to learn from their mistakes.
