a funny story from an ex relative. She had several chickens and rooster and she also had a dog in the yard. The dog was chained up and the rooster knew exactly how far he could go to tease the dog before the chain would stop him. One day without thinking she moved the tie down for the dog's chain...needless to say the dog got the rooster. Tommy

Well Big Mac is dead. I found him belly up in the coop. Looks like his heart stopped. His comb & wattles were dark purple. I'm told it's common for the really large breeds. So..... I no longer have a rooster for sale.

A dead rooster is nothing to crow about.

A dead rooster is nothing to crow about. Imagine if one of you guys had bought him & he croaked on you shortly after. I'd have felt really bad about that.

Now, Mandy; what would a guy need with a rooster anyway?

I have a 2 year old Buff Orpington Rooster for sale. He's not a pet, but he's tame enough to handle. He is HUGE. His head comes above my knee, & I'd guess he weighs about 12 to 15 pounds. He'd make some lucky hen a good baby daddy. 15.0010.00
