After last week's adventure with Ivan the horse on the wrong hill, I'm just about ready to put him on here for adoption. ;D Last night he added to my frustration by pulling a Houdini act and getting out of his pasture, going into the carport where all the feed is stored, and helping himself to everything. A little bit of this and a little bit of that. Today Mr. big belly isn't too interested in food. Thank goodness the things I feed the equine aren't harmfully in large amounts. But I had a lot of fun cleaning up everything. I believe that Horse was sent by God so I'd learn patience! BTW, if anyone needs a place to board their dog Wagging Tail Cottage takes care of pups. Last week I had three Labs. Two were only 8 months old. Chaos, and never ending motion. I had a dream that I was being squished to death. Woke up to find the two young Labs draped happily over my body. When I tried to remove them I was smothered in puppy kisses. If anyone is interested in a black, female, Lab the pup is up for adoption. She walked up to some friends of mine and they took her in, hoping to find her people. Turned out she was chipped but when the people were called they said they didn't want her any more. She has a slight scar on her back leg. Doesn't bother her at all. No limp or present injury. We suspect she was bought to be a show dog and when she was injured and healed with a slight scar the people didn't want her any more. She's a delightful dog, full of energy, so you'd need a large yard and be willing to invest time in her training. Like most Labs, she'll calm down as she grows older. She's really quite beautiful. A ten year old boy would be a perfect match. Give me a call or post here and I'll get in touch.

This forum is a very good idea.
The newlyweds' elderly dog wandered away last week and was gone for a day or two. I would have put out an APB here, but fortunately it wasn't required, this time. Just when grief was about to set in for real, Dee showed up again. It was very un-Dee-like to disappear. And Dee isn't say what all happened out in the real world.

Sara, I often pass the newlyweds place going to and fro. They are really working hard on it. I'm glad the dog came back.

Well, the black Lab has a home. A family with children took her. Their dog died and the kids were really upset. I'm sure this sweet little girl will fill their hearts. It always makes me feel good when a dog get a "forever" home.
