When the free speech movement was getting underway in the 60s, a college student in California disrupted a campus speaker by standing up and shouting the F word over and over. When he paused to take a breath, the speaker said, "Now that you've told us your first name, what is your last name?"

I have no fear, that is, now the Iron Bowl is over. I had a good bit of fear during most of that game. But I didn't cuss. I think Coach Saban will have to go to confession before he goes to Communion on Sunday. You did better than I did Sara. I had to work during the Iron Bowl but did get to listen to it on the overhead speakers at the store. During one of the first Auburn scores I was walking down an aisle and I let the S word out more loudly than I should have. I was very embarassed and even more so when I looked up to see a lady standing close by. I apologized but she said "well I would have to say S for that too". She had on an Alabama shirt.

I cussed when I was forced to go to Best Buy in Hoover to pick up a TV we wanted. They were out of that model in Trussville, not that that store is any better. Crazy customers, lazy cashiers, & rude floor personel. I hate Holiday crowds & shopping during Christmas.

Here's a hint for shopping at Best Buy: First, go to the BB website and find what you want. Many times it's cheaper to buy it on the internet and then go pick it up at the store. They will tell you which store has the item, and you designate the one you want to visit. You pay for it online, then go there and pick it up, reserved. I saved $100 off the price of a big screen TV that way, didn't have to put up with any sales bullcrap, and my son earned extra points on his Best Buy card.

I saved $100 off the price of a big screen TV that way, didn't have to put up with any sales bullcrap, and my son earned extra points on his Best Buy card. That's what we did with the TV. The problem started when we got a few games for CJ out of a bin CLEARLY marked 9.99. The front of one had a label that said, ""Great Buy, a 19.99 value." It rang up 49.99. A 19.99 value for 49.99. We made lardzilla, our obviously devoted Best Buy cashier, void that one out. Then there were several rows of wireless mice for laptops. ALL of the pegs they were hanging on said 24.99. They were ringing up 49.99. I won that fight. I now own a 50.00 mouse for 24.99. I won't go back for a long time.. It frazzled my nerves something awful.

I suspecty that we know when the line has been crossed. Just imagine that your dear old grandma was reading it, knowing that you had written it of course, deleat those words she'd find offensive, and there you go. Oh and BTW Granny isn't a prude she's just a polite little old lady who can use her imagination to come up with better adjetives than f-----g, sh-----d of a congressman! Actually, one of my grandmothers (not the one related to Aunt Nancy!) sometimes did say a word or two that wouldn't have been allowed in the Methodist Sunday School. One time she burned the toast and served it anyway. When my grandfather mentioned that the toast was burnt, she said "No it ain't. It's just brown as hail."
