I was asked to paint a civil war flag for the re-inactors group. This flag is from the Alabama 28th Regiment. I'm painting this first flag as a test sample to see how the paint works on cloth. The next one will be done on silk just like the original flag. There is a lot of interest in these flags with a lot of history. Next year is the 150th anniversary of the Civil War and re-inactors are coming out of the woods all over the country.
