I have to pick my grandson up from preschool in a little while, because his mom and dad (my son) are at a funeral for her grandmom. She was old and lived a rewarding life, but the granddad and her mom (an only child) are very sad. I is always sad to lose someone, but it seems like when it is during the holidays it just really makes it that much harder. Also I got a call yesterday, one of our associate pastors' lost their daughter to a car wreck. She was in her early twenties and was recently engaged. I can't imagine the pain that they are in. Please just join me in praying for God's peace and comfort to be with these two familes.

My daughter-in-law is Kristy Edmondson and her mom Tina Burroughs, and the granddad I only know as DaddyT.

Pastor Charles and Betty Standford lost their daughter Charlene.
