Was loaned a book by the title of, SEAL TARGET GERONIMO. It is about the killing of Osama bin Laden, but it's more than just that. Author, Chuck Pfarrer, who has many writing credits to his name (books and movies including the Jackal) takes the reader through a lot of recent history that probably went over most of our heads.
For instance, remember when President Bush said Sadam had WMD and that's why we went back to war with him. The media, both the lame stream and conservative said oh, no no! There are no WMD in Iraq. Well, turns out there were....lots of them. But that news never made it to the front page. Now terrorists have re purposed a lot of them. And some day we will have a horrible gas attack in a major city. But no one, including our present man in the W.H. wants to talk about that. Just keep the masses ignorant. Keep them talking about the country's finances.
This book really opened my eyes to the real facts. I'd suspected a lot of this but didn't have the smarts to discover what was really going on. I'd suggest that it's a good read and very informative. Of course, if you don't want to be scared, don't read it.
