A group of young people was returning from an outing where they had visited a famous university. These fine young boys and girls were seriously injured yesterday when their bus was involved in an accident caused by the driver trying to go under an overpass that was too low for the bus. Thirty eight in the group were injured and taken to the hospital. BUT, amazingly, no one has called for outlawing buses in order to save our children. No one has called for background checks on all bus drivers. No government panel has been convened. Joe Biden hasn't been appointed to head a study of what can be done to make buses safer.
What's going on here? Clearly buses are a danger to our children. Oh, and what about roads? Should we have roads where traffic can move at such a high speed? Shouldn't we go back to dirt roads that only allow vehicles to move at 10 MPH?
Perhaps all of those who are calling for the outlawing of guns should start spending their energy on banning buses???
