I'm sure many of you have beaten me to the punch in watching a series aired on Netflex called, HOUSE OF CARDS. It is quite a series, based on the politics of Washington D.C. as seen through the eyes of a Southern member of the House. He's just as sleezy and corrupt as you'd imagine a bad guy to be. BUT, the rest, of the cast, are no angels either. This is Washington as you would imagine it to be. It makes you angry while fascinating you at the same time. Gives one insight into how the politicians both control and corrupt each other.....even some who don't want to be corrupted. I tell you one thing, it reminds me of JFK when he said that every mother wants her son to grow up to be President. But none wants her son to be a politician. Good watching while educating a person on just how D.C. works.
