I'm tired of all of the bad news. I'm tired of idiots in D.C. trying to pass laws about gun control that are clearly unconstitutional. I'm tired of the Korean doughboy threatening to blow up the world. I'm tired of the Muslims wanting to make the whole world nothing but Muslims. I'm tired of the Obamas abusing their position as President and First Lady by spending millions on vacations while the rest of us juggle our bills. I'm tired of Obamacare that doesn't work and the President's press secretary telling me it's raining while in fact someone is pissing on my shoes.
Instead, I'm going to tell y'all about the little baby girl who shares my birth date of November 6th. The amazing thing is that without the present state of medicine this little one would never have made it out of the delivery room. She had a cyst on one of her lungs that would have kept her from expelling the air she took in to breathe. Thanks to many medical teams (there was a team for everything it seems) she is now 5 months old and HEALTHY. When she was 30 weeks old and it was possible for her to live outside her Mother's womb the doctors partially delivered her by C section. They only had a VERY limited time to repair the things that needed surgery before they had to continue to deliver her and cut the cord. Amazingly, everything went just right. And today, her doctor said she's just another normal baby. What terrific news for her and all of the people who love her. Let's celebrate that instead of having a hissy fit over all that is wrong with the world.
