For those of us who are PO'd about the government snooping on our every keystroke, and visit to a search engine, here's a way to maybe keep some of your Internet visits private. Use www.ixquick.com/This search engine is quick and private because it's owned by a company in the Netherlands. As they say, they are NOT a U.S. owned company. They have NO physical presence in the U.S. They do NOT store anything...even your address. As soon as you sign off, your information is dumped. So even if they wanted to they could not, and would not, give ANY government anything. I have used the search engine today and found that it is very quick and just as easy to use as any of the more popular search engines we're used to using. Is what they are saying true? Who knows. But it couldn't be any worse than what is happening to us now. One thing I DO know for sure. Google is a mess. All you get are people who have paid to have their information come up. I've used Bing which is much better. Now I'll have to see how this search engine goes.
