I've got to hand it to the Egyptian people. They were fed up, they showed up, and they accomplished their goal. They had the backing of their military which, in this case, was a good thing.
We in America have never involved our military in politics. We don't quake in fear when we see a soldier. And that does happen in countries where the military is involved in supporting any political cause.
I do wonder what would happen if over a million people showed up in D.C. demanding Obummers resignation. And, of course, I'd just love to see him under house arrest.
BTW, speaking of arrest and trials, what is with the judge in the Zimmerman trial allowing the school records of Zimmerman but not Martin? Seems as if she's just setting herself up for a reversal if Zimmerman winds up getting convicted.
As for me, I'm tired of people saying, Oh the poor teenager got killed. He was a thug who had been in trouble many, many, times. I'm also tired of that doctor, who as a supposed expert, said that she didn't think Zimmerman's injuries were very bad. She wasn't there, she didn't examine him. My son had to under go brain surgery from a knock on the head and there wasn't a mark on him. So much for the expert.

It seems to me that the media has been convicting Zimmerman from the very beginning. I think it's terrible that they used pictures of the thug Trayvon when he was years younger! And what a shame the judge seems to be 'judging' in favor of this black kid before it even goes to the jury.

I believe that officials are afraid of a huge Black riot it Zimmerman isn't convicted. He's being used as the sacrificial lamb.
In my opinion, if Blacks riot and burn, use the National Guard to keep them in their own neighborhoods. And let them bankroll, and rebuild that which they destroy. I believe that a HUGE portion of this country is fed up with pandering to a certain section of our population because of their skin color and ignorance.

If they keep killing each other it might cut down on the voting! On the other hand they keep producing babies so fast there will always be replacements for the ones they kill. I know those are terrible statements but the older I get the less patience I have for the pandering to the black population.

There is a VERY simple way to cut down on the huge number of unwed mothers (of all colors) in the U.S. Do not give them any benefit for having a child. If they say the child will die because they don't have money, simply have the various States take the child and place them in a State run orphanage. The mother or father would be able to get custody of the child when they can prove that they have a job and are able to provide for their child. Otherwise, the child remains a ward of the State in which he lives. This is not an ideal thing for the child, but I say it is far better than living in a home where there is no work ethic, moral code, or healthy environment...drugs, no regular dental and health care, support for education etc.
I have long donated to a place called St. Joseph's. It is a boarding school in the Dakotas for Indian children. They come from homes that are less than ideal and sent to a school that helps them become a productive member of society. They learn that they can do more than get addicted to drugs or alcohol, an wait for a government check while living on the reservation. These children are happy, and even their families are helped. Almost all of them graduate from High School. The greater majority go on to college or trade schools where they get skills to support themselves in the world.
I believe that such a system is FAR better than leaving innocent children in abusive homes where they just learn to make the same mistakes their parents made.

Yes they are. Democraps will rule for the rest of our lives. It's over, Chris. I will not entertain any further notions of fixing anything, just hope there is enough momentum to carry me for another 10-15 years. Suggest you do the same, and enjoy the fruits of our past before they all rot.

Jerry, I know you just want to be left alone to enjoy life and do your own thing. But I have a suspicion that if the fit hits the shan you'll be one of the Americans who grabs his gun and fights for his freedom. You're just too much of a curmudgeon to let government officials come into your home and stomp all over your God given rights.
We enjoy freedom (or what's left of it) because many years ago there were people who fought for not only themselves, but for their children, and their children, into the future.
I've always liked the saying; he who plants a tree, plants for future generations. Most don't get to see the acorn become a mighty Oak. But I'm grateful that they expended the effort and care to grow that Oak which now shades my home.

The paper that was written by a White teacher who had taught in a predominantly Black school says it all. He wrote that his Black students could never discuss an idea logically. They would just keep shouting a dumb idea louder and louder and over and over. And that is what the Black voters do. I've never yet heard one of them put forth a logical argument as to why Obama is the man for the job. All I've heard is things like that Black woman who kept screaming that we should vote for Obama because, "He give us Obama phones!" As if that is a good reason to vote a man into POTUS. Ignorance, such ignorance. And we let this stupidity and vocal ignorance get an unqualified man in the oval office. I don't know which side has the dumber people.

Hiram, the black population is only a portion of the Democrap majority. There are sorry people of all colors, enough now to keep the money hemorrhage flowing in their direction for decades to come.

Right on!!! Two my closest friends (husband/wife that I was with on the houseboat recently) are dye in the wool in Democrats in Northern Nevada. We speak little politics. Too many sessions with them yelling at me how naive I am. So to keep the friendship, we just agree to disagree!!
