Mrs. Christine Beal-Kaplan
Obituary
PELL CITY - On the evening of Friday, July 26, 2013, after a busy day, Christine Beal-Kaplan laid down to rest and passed away peacefully in her sleep.
She will be missed every day by her children, Tobie, Christopher and Thomas; her in-laws, Paula, Minako and Jim; her grandchildren, Sarah, Sydney, Jacob, Kyle and Marie Sophia; her brother, Russell; her cousins, Sarah and Sasha; her best friend, Mary Joyce; her beloved dogs, Bernie, Samantha, Cougar and Doodle; and so many other friends too numerous to name.
Christine was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on November 6, 1941. She was a horsewoman, a talented guitarist with a beautiful singing voice, an X-Ray Technician, a Pilot, an Aircraft Mechanic and a successful small business woman. Christine volunteered tirelessly with the Coast Guard Auxiliary, the Kiwanis and the Pell City Library Guild.
She was passionate about animals and no creature with fur or feathers need fear homelessness if they could see the light of Wagging Tail Cottage. Christine believed in giving of herself by caring for man and beast; by speaking her opinion, not always softly, to those in authority; and helping to improve her community through the organizations she was a part of.
Christine was many things, but mostly she was a dutiful, devoted daughter, a caring sister, a faithful friend and a warm and loving Mother and Grandmother.
Please come with stories and laughter to help us celebrate her incredible life on Wednesday, August 28, 2013, 4 to 6, at Celebrations, 3005 Martin Street, Cropwell, AL. Food and beverages will be provided.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Christine's name to Animal Shelter of Pell City or any other animal charity.
For further information email cbkmemorial@outlook.com.
Kilgroe Funeral Home, Pell City, will direct the service.
