Today's homeschooling day started off with me printing off a bunch of Jerry's Time Machine articles and putting them in plastic sleeves. David and I are going to start reading them. I thought we could read five today, but I had to stop and answer so many questions, that in turn they become entire discussions. Needless to say we will have to go slow so he can absorb more. He still doesn't have it figured completely out why his pawpaw is calling someone "Daddy". I guess that's a strange concept to a 12 year old, that his pawpaw was once a little boy like him. Time to him is a difficult idea. When reading the story about the family radio, he got it in his head that his daddy (Jerry's son, born in 1969) had the same childhood. We had some funny and eye opening conversations today!

Daughter, I am very happy to see Time Machine used in this way. That was one of my original goals for the series, that the young could be brought to realize how things once were. Keep up the good work; you're one great home-schoolmarm.
If anyone else cares to use anything I've written for such noble purpose, please feel free to do so. It belongs to all of us.
