I say hurray for Arizona. I think more states should consider the idea, and not just because of Obama. It's a safeguard for future elections and IMO should be the law in every state. It's also a way of states taking back some of the power that should belong to them and not the federal government. The Founding Fathers, as well as the average citizen at the time, had NO intention of giving a centralized government huge power over them. It's what they were fighting against.

think of all those people who thought that a candidate automatically had to furnish a birth certificate...by all rights that would be a natural assumption. I assumed the same thing until I started investigating just how the process works or at least how it worked in this situation. Surely someone somewhere would have checked Obama's birth certificate....not so. NOBODY anywhere has come forward to say they actually saw Obama's true birth certificate...and how could they? It's supposedly locked up in the Hawaii Health Department...it's sealed...nobody is allowed to see it. You would think that Nancy Pelosi has seen it....nope. She's the one who verified Obama's qualifications....no, wait a minute. Her letter to 49 of the 50 states doesn't say that he's qualified...in fact it merely says that he is the DNC candidate. I got a kick out of a British newspaper article that explains how everybody in the entire world knows that Obama was not born in the USA but the people in the USA don't seem to get it. The truth will come out sometime...the sooner the better. Tommy

One can only hope Tommy. It seems absurd that a person holding the legal requirements to be president would go to such trouble to keep them a secret. When Hitler started out the people in Germany didn't think he was a bad man. To their shame and horror they soon learned differently. Why did they support him? Because they hadn't investigated him enough in the beginning. We are faced with the same situation here. Nobody vetted Obama before they climbed on his bandwagon. He gave wonderful speeches so, hurray! he should be president. Not a very good way to elect a chief executive.
