Garland, what's the difference in this and all the braids the black students are wearing. They need to take a look at how many black college football players have those braids (dred lockes?) hanging out from under their football helmets. I wonder if any at Gardendale have those?

A blue eyed Indian? Look, if the school has a hair length policy, and enforces it fairly (on everyone) then I say either cut the boy's hair or send him to a private school that doesn't care about his hair length. IF, on the other hand, they allow the extreme hair styles of some Negro students I've seen in the highschools, well then they should allow this young man to keep his long hair. In all fairness, the boy's hair was clean and neat. He'll probably cut it when he finds that some girl he likes thinks he'd look better with short hair.

But that's because they are of mixed blood. Isn't this family making a claim to be Native American? The boy has auburn hair and pretty blue eyes. (a nice looking kid) That's stretching the Native American thing a bit, don't you think? I think this is more about rebellion than Native American religious beliefs.

I am not sure, I have not seen a picture of him nor have I read whether they are mixed blood or full-blooded Native Americans.

The Cherokee in me wants to smack this kid and his parents for trying to get in trouble in school. The white-eyes won, dummy. You do it their/our way or go start your own country after you're grown.
I think he should cut it mainly because it makes him look like a girl. Hell, maybe he is, sorta. As for those blacks with slimy little pigtails all over their heads, who cares? They're not even worthy of consideration. Just don't invite them to dinner.

Figured you'ens would get stirred up.....we (boys) all had short hair in school and the military made us cut it even shorter.....I didn't like long hair when the Beatles came over and I still don't to this day......if my hair touches my ears or my shirt collar it's done got way too long......I think all those folks in school and college should have their hair cut back......it's terrible looking to see all that mess hanging out from a football helmet.. Oh, like Jerry said about dinner....if they showed up at my house like that they would have to eat out back with the hounds....

I think you'd be generous to even feed them with the hounds.

Hey, you know those dogs better than I do. But if they're that bad, why not just shoot them?
